Belgian Company Launches Imuglucan with
WGP® Beta Glucan from Biopolymer Engineering, Inc.

March 17, 2004 - EAGAN, MN - NutriPhyt, Inc. has selected WGP®
Beta Glucan from Biopolymer Engineering, Inc. as the key ingredient in ImuglucanTM, a new nutritional supplement to support a healthy immune system.

Imuglucan is designed for physicians and other health care professionals. Clinical and preclinical studies have demonstrated that WGP Beta Glucan enhances the performance of key immune cells called neutrophils, the most abundant immune cell in the human body. The product is manufactured by Labo Phytophar, a Belgian contract manufacturer for health food companies. Imuglucan is manufactured in strict compliance with HACCP and medico-pharmaco technology principles, as well as GMP and pharmaceutical preparation standards.

NutriPhyt is focused on developing products that contain all essential building blocks to keep the body healthy. “We will see to it that everything is done in a scientifically validated way,” said Gabriël Devriendt, NutriPhyt founder. “This means that only natural and standardized products are being used and only substances which have proved to be useful in a certain indication.”

NutriPhyt (Oostkamp, Belgium) was established in 2002. It is the exclusive distributor of WGP Beta Glucan in Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg. Website at www.nutriphyt.be.
