Dr. Donald Cox to Lead Research & Development
for Biopolymer Engineering Commercial Group



EAGAN, MN – December 7, 2004 – Donald Cox, Ph.D. has joined Biopolymer Engineering, Inc. as Vice President, Research & Development, Commercial Group. He is responsible for developing commercial applications for the company’s immune support products in the dietary supplement, functional food, cosmetic and animal health and nutrition markets.

Previously, Dr. Cox was the Business Development Manager of Food & Ingredients for DKSH North America Inc., which provides raw materials and specialty additives for the food, beverage and dietary supplement industries. Prior to that Dr. Cox held positions as the Business Development Manager for Cargill Feed Applications and earlier for Cargill Heath & Food Technologies. Dr. Cox also is a former Director of Research & Development for Diamond V, Inc., a company known for providing yeast products to animal feed companies.
