Director of Healthcare Research

Biothera is seeking a Director of Research for its Healthcare Group, which manufactures and markets food-grade ingredients for the functional food and beverage, dietary supplement, cosmetics and animal nutrition industries.

Responsibilities include:

Designing and managing clinical studies
Developing and formulating products
Regulatory compliance
Technical presentations

Requirements:

6-10 years experience in the natural products or functional food industry
4-6 years of lab experience or food formulation
Ph.D. in Food Science, Biochemistry, Natural Products Chemistry, Immunology or related field

Approximately 10-20% travel time required for technical services and presentations to customers.
